Royal London’s Social Impact approach focuses on the areas they can work with others to make a real difference to society. In 2019 they developed three core themes: building financial resilience, taking on the long-term savings challenge, and strengthening responsible business.
Our role was to develop a strategy blueprint and narrative to help communicate these themes and the newly-developed ‘Ten commitments’ across the wider business, partners, members & customers.
Building on the themes, we ran a stakeholder workshop to develop the overarching narrative, before carrying out 121 interviews to deep dive into each commitment and develop the supporting proof-points.
‘Determination for Good’ launched in summer 2020 with a heavy PR and social media presence, using our suite of guidelines, videos, infographics and programme of activity for the rest of the year.
Working with Royal London on KPIs, results will be available in 2021, but initial feedback has been positive across the business.
