How do you launch Don Julio 1942 tequila in an unmissable way?
For Halloween, Edinburgh’s Gleneagles Townhouse was transforming into a full-on haunted hotel for one night only. What better fit for drink steeped in Día de los Muertos iconography. But this super-premium tequila couldn’t be gimmicky, Don Julio had to be intrinsic to the event.
Don Julio 1942 is built around the mysticism of the agave plant. So we went to town(house) with bespoke elements that demanded interaction. The bar became our agave temple, the portraits came to life with haunted jimadors, and the band became enchanted by the spirit of Don Julio.
