THE CHALLENGE
For Halloween Edinburgh’s brand new Gleneagles Townhouse was transforming into a full on haunted hotel for one night only. Our challenge was to make Don Julio 1942 tequila the talk of the evening in an unmissable way that would get the crowd tasting tequila all night long.
THE TENSION
Tequila is not necessarily a drink you’d expect to be drinking in a private members club. And Whilst Mexico is not short on Halloween iconography as a super-premium tequila we couldn’t be gimmicky. We had to make Don Julio into an intrinsic part of the event that really elevated the evening.
OUR POINT OF VIEW
Don Julio 1942 is built around the mysticism of the spiky Agave plant. So we embraced it and went to town(house) with bespoke elements that demanded interaction. The bar became our agave temple, the portraits came to life with haunted jimadors and even the band became enchanted by the spirit of Don Julio.
THE RESULTS
Don Julio became the serve to be seen with on the night, we really got people talking and made the spooky experience even more immersive.
